Wizard:
In the fiction of J. R. R. Tolkien, the Wizards of Middle-earth are a group of beings outwardly resembling Men but possessing much greater physical and mental power. They are also called the Istari (Quenya for Wise Ones) by the Elves. The Sindarin word is Ithryn (sing. Ithron). They were sent by the Valar to help and assist the peoples of Middle-earth to contest Sauron. Though five were sent out, only three appear in the northwestern regions of Middle-earth.They were of the Maiar, spirits of the same order as the Valar, but lesser in power. The first three were known in Mannish tongue of Westron as Saruman (Man of Skill), Gandalf (Elf of the Wand), and Radagast (Tender of Beasts) . The two others did not have names in Westron, and were known as Alatar and Pallando. Each Wizard was assigned a colour with matching clothes, white being indicative of the chief, Saruman (himself one of the most powerful of the Maiar). Gandalf was grey, Radagast was brown, and Alatar and Pallando were both blue. In Tolkien's work The Lord of the Rings Gandalf and Saruman both play important roles, while Radagast plays only a very minor part. Alatar and Pallando do not feature in the story, as they journeyed far into the east after their arrival in Middle-earth.
Tolkien gives multiple names for all of them Their Elvish Quenya names were Curumo, meaning Skillful one (Saruman); Olrin, meaning Dreaming or Dreamer (Gandalf); Aiwendil, meaning Friend of birds (Radagast); Morinehtar, meaning Darkness-slayer and Rmestmo, meaning East-helper (either Alatar or Pallando). There are various other names in Sindarin, Khuzdul, and other languages of Arda for each of the wizards individually.

Hobbits:
fictional diminutive race in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium who inhabit the lands of Middle-earth. They are named Halflings by most of Middle-earth, and Periannath by the Elves.
Hobbits first appearedin the J. R. R. Tolkien novel, The Hobbit, in which the main protagonist, Bilbo Baggins, is a hobbit. The main protagonist of The Lord of the Rings, Frodo Baggins, is a hobbit, as are his friends and co-protagonists, Samwise Gamgee, Peregrin Took and Meriadoc Brandybuck. Frodo was Bilbo's first and second cousin once removed either way; the two regarded each other as uncle and nephew. Hobbits are also briefly mentioned in The Silmarillion.
According to the author in the prologue to The Lord of the Rings, Hobbits are relatives of the race of Men. Elsewhere Tolkien describes Hobbits as a variety or separate branch of humans. However, within the story, Hobbits considered themselves a separate race.At the time of the events in The Lord of the Rings, Hobbits lived in the Shire and in Bree in the north west of Middle-earth *

Elves characteristics:
Elves were the fairest of all earthly creatures and resembled the Ainur in spirit. They have leaf-shaped ears, pointed relative to Men. They were about six feet tall and somewhat slender, graceful but strong and resistant to the extremes of nature. Their senses, especially of hearing and sight, were much keener than those of Men. Elves apparently did not sleep, but rested their minds in waking dreams or by looking at beautiful things. The Eldar, and perhaps all Elves, could talk directly from mind to mind without words; in other words, all Elves were telepathic. The Elves possessed skills and knowledge that appeared as 'magic' to men.

Although they could be slain or die of grief, Elves were not subject to age or disease. Elves could recover from wounds which would normally kill a mortal Man. However this also made the Elves less flexible in terms of adjusting to an otherwise fallen, ever-changing world.

Elves and Nature
Elves loved all beautiful things, but especially the wonders of nature, above all the waters of Ulmo and the stars of Elbereth that shone on them at their awakening. Their curiosity and desire for knowledge was insatiable; one of their great achievements was to teach the Ents to talk. As their own name for themselves (Quendi, 'the speakers'), apparently in honor of the fact that when they were created they were the only living things able to speak. Orom was the first who called them the (Eldar, 'Star People') because they were born under the stars, but the name is generally considered to exclude the Avari. They were by nature good and abhorred all works of evil, although they could be seduced by evil that seemed fair. *
